outdoors

This past weekend was fantastic.
Saturday we went up to Nederland for a two hour hoop-dance class. Needless to say it was our first hooping experience since elementary school and it was nothing like I remember. What a workout! I have a lot of respect for what can be done with the hoop, and hope to progress.

Sunday we hiked Mt.Galbraith. It's a great feeling to walk out the front door, down the street, and arrive at a Rocky Mountain trail head. The trail was challenging for me (yet a breeze for B), but it was also the first time feeling confident in hiking boots since surgery. With a little more time, I hope to be able to have the endurance and ease that Brett possesses.

Last night it snowed. Today it's bright blue sunny skies. Saturday's forecast is for 68F.

Another avenue of communication

The world of blogging has both positive and negative aspects. I've decided to start a blog on my site... and hope that it will be a good decision.

The reason behind my decision has may parts
- A place to record (thoughts, links, activities, adventures, music, photos, etc...)
- A way for those near and dear, yet far away, to have a glimpse into life on the front range
- A form of reflection

Please feel free to comment and follow along with me on the journey, by jumping on the train (of thought)
